General Terms and Conditions | The Most Important
Viventura LLC Booking Terms and Conditions
This is an overview of the Terms and Conditions that will apply to your booking. All persons wishing to make a booking must agree to having carefully read and understand the complete Terms and Conditions available in the PDF above.
BOOKINGS
To secure a booking with viventura, the client must deposit 20% of the trip price (minimum $250). Inca trail bookings must be paid %100 in advance to secure spaces. A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the Company sends a confirmation invoice or email. It is at this point that a Contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence.
DEPOSIT
Your deposit is good for Life
At viventura we understand that plans can change and life doesn't always go as planned. As part of our commitment to exceptional customer service, all deposits with viventura are good for life. So if you have to delay or cancel a tour with us for any reason, rest assured that your deposit will be waiting for use on a future adventure with viventura.
PAYMENT
a) The balance of the amount due must be paid to the Company no later than 30 days before departure. In case of non-payment of the balance by the due date, the Company will treat the booking as cancelled by the Client.
b) In the case of bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, the full amount of the package price has to be paid at once.
c) Payment can either be made by wire transfer, direct deposit, or credit card. In case of a bank transfer all wiring and transfer costs should be assumed by the Client. In the case of a credit card payment all charges applied to the transaction should be assumed by the Client.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
The Client must notify the Company in writing during the process of booking of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel and or any medical condition.
CANCELLATION OF A TOUR BY THE CLIENT
Any cancellation by a Client must be made in writing and be acknowledged by the Company in writing. (a) Cancellation for viventura trips: The cancellation fees are expressed hereafter as a percentage of the total tour price, excluding insurance.
i) Cancellation 45 days or more before departure: Loss of deposit.
ii) Cancellation 21 -45 days before departure: 50% of cost of services booked.
iii) Cancellation 10 - 20 days before departure: 75% of cost of services
iiii) Cancellation less than 10 days before departure: 100% of cost of services booked. viventura Tailor Made trips may vary in cancellation policy from that detailed in this clause, and will be detailed at time of booking.
ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
The Client acknowledges that the nature of the tour is adventurous and may involve a significant amount of personal risk. The Client hereby assumes all such risk and does hereby release the Company from all claims and causes of action arising from any damages or injuries or death resulting from these inherent risks.
GUARANTEED DEPARTURES
The Company guarantees selected departures at their discretion. The departure shall become guaranteed once there are two Clients confirmed upon it.
INSURANCE
It is mandatory that all Clients obtain travel related personal medical insurance while travelling with the Company and this insurance must cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, and evacuation expenses.
DISCOUNTS
All discounts and reduced pricing are applied at the Company’s discretion.
LIABILITY
viventura is not liable whatsoever for any claim arising out of or in connection with these packages, nor is it liable for loss of or damage or injury to property, or omission by any transportation company, hotel, agency or any other cause beyond it’s reasonable control.
