Peru
Our office is in a quiet spot in Arequipa, less than 2 miles from the city center. Arequipa is the second largest city in Peru. We enjoy the wonderful weather of the region. Our favorite part of the office is our kitchen. We regularly invite our travel groups to have lunch in our office in order try one of the many local specialties.
Ecuador
At 7,900ft, the office is at lower altitude than colonial Quito, in a relatively verdant suburb of the city. It takes about 40 minutes by bus to get here from, the center of the town. Perhaps on your Ecuador trip, you will have the opportunity to get to know the office. We invite you to have lunch with us. We have a housekeeper who loves to experiment with new recipes. So please stop by and taste these new creations with us.
Argentina
Due to the "two touristic seasons", our office in Buenos Aires is dynamic place. From October until March, it's very busy. With the phone ringing almost every minute, we hardly have time to drink a typical "Mate". From April to September the scenery changes. We research the different regions of Argentina to make sure we are up to date with all the new offerings. In addition, we train our guides to make sure that you have the best possible experience,when you come to visit us here in Argentina.
Chile
The office in Santiago is in the middle of town, near the Plaza de Armas and the cathedral. You can find everything you need in a 10 minute walk in any direction - even fresh fish in the nearby market square! The metro station is only a 5 minute walk. Santiago has more than 5 million people and is the capital of Chile. From here you can make an easy trip to the Andes, for trekking or climbing, or head west to the nearby coast.
Colombia
Medellín is the second largest city in Colombia and is considered one of the best cities for commerce, industry and technical development in the country. In recent years the city has undergone an amazing and positive transformation towards a today's modern city. Known for its friendly inhabitants, beautiful women and enterprising people, Medellín is always glad to receive visitors at any time. Our office is located in a residential area, surrounded by a young and cheerful crowd due to a nearby University.
Brazil
The office is in a small mountain village in the south of Brazil. The town is called Doutor Pedrinho and is surrounded by pure primeval forest. The closest movie theater is 50 miles away and it's 22 miles to the nearest dance club. But you'll find a waterfall practically in the backyard and nearby, there are rapids for rafting and kayaking. Imagine no traffic lights, no traffic jams, simply clean air and drinking water from the forest springs that characterize the region. A perfect place for nature lovers and adventurers. You can find a beach less than 90 miles away. And the state capital, Florianópolis, is 125 miles to the East.
Bolivia
The office in La Paz has one of our smallest teams, Tomás, Rita and an intern. Nestled in a valley near the one of the highest cities in the world, it has an elevation of approximately 11,150ft in the Irpavi neighborhood. We share a large office with Lakauta, a Fair-Trade enterprise. The duties of the office are design and implementation of the tours in Bolivia and the coordination of the viSozial project "Luz de Esperanza" and "Santiago de Okola".
